Bench Swimsuits Collections

in Italy

For several years I follow with interest the issue of toxic chemicals which, once released into the environment, are able to penetrate into the food chain. Then we mark with pleasure this article which talks about the banning in Italy of bisphenol A (BPA) in baby bottles.

Ethical food: good food?

A friend pointed me to this interesting article in The Economist, read it (even if it 'in English), because it' s very interesting and offers much food for thought:

MY NEW PINK BOW SHOES

Finally I made it,
preview the shoes that I bought for her sister's wedding!
I am very happy because besides being a very nice pair of shoes (to me), are also economic "normal" and comfortable.
wear then they would feel good too ugly woman!
In this regard I would refer you to the shop where I bought them and where, last Saturday morning, I left a considerable amount of money! The shop is called
B & H and is Civitanova Marche down the highway, coming from MC, or coming from the direction Sant'Elpidio!
There is also a shop, more to the part of Porto Sant 'Elpidio, which is near the canteen and to Loriblu Malloni. Well worth the
shop has some nice heels and also some good boots, always depends on what you want.
also not satisfied, the clerk offered me a 30% discount on both items, if I had just decided to buy a second.
Chri that he looked at me strangely and pushed me to buy a leopard print bag.
fact if you think about it is not surprising, because Rosco is worse than me when we go out together, I'm holding him, he will not hold me!

Finally we visited Malloni. We really
I would have bought all clothes, shoes and bags, big, soft, beautiful!
I bought a pair of pants blacks, large penguin type ..!
nice Saturday morning with Christie!

Galactosemia

After speaking of lactose intolerance, I find it a comment on another disease closely linked to dairy products, but much less known: The galactosemia. This is a disease that is characterized by the unusual presence of galactose in the blood after taking foods containing lactose and / or galactose. It can be caused by three different genetic defects of enzymes in the metabolism of galactose: The galactosemia (galactose or severe, characterized by a deficiency of galactose-1-phosphate uridiltransferasi), galactosemia II (due to deficiency of galactokinase), and finally, galactosemia III (due to deficiency of UDP-galactose-4-epimerase in red and white).
Galactosemia serious if left untreated, leads to a reduction of the potentially fatal kidney and liver function, enlarged liver, cirrhosis of the liver, and brain damage in newborns, cataracts. Galactokinase deficiency (galactosemia II), but generally is associated with cataracts and mental retardation, but this phenomenon is not certain that can be linked directly to the enzyme deficiency. Finally, galactosemia III is characterized by symptoms similar to The form, when the enzyme deficiency is widespread. Conversely, when the deficit is peripheral or isolated, the disease is asymptomatic.
Regarding the diagnosis, this can be done by evaluating the blood concentration of galactose (galactosemia I and II), or by enzymatic test on red blood cells (galactosemia III), assuming that the subject has not been transfusions. The diagnosis can be confirmed by high levels of galactose or galactitolo urine.
Clinical management of all types of galactosemia include, where possible, eliminating all sources of galactose, including human milk. In addition to dairy products, a potential source of this sugar is also represented by various fruits (blueberries, winter melon, pineapple), the vegetable and meat stuffed and preserved. Unfortunately, even in the event of early dietary management, most patients will experience delayed development and a deficit in growth. Foods that contain milk (or lactose as an ingredient) and dairy products should be avoided as far as possible, so that the daily total intake of lactose is at least 25 mg/100 kcal. The current test to indicate how "the absence of lactose content of less than 10 mg kcal lattosio/100 on labels of products for infants and food formulas, which allows these formulas can be safely used for the dietary management of patients with galactosemia. A precise threshold for galactose of lactose intake below which adverse effects can be excluded is not never been established. The milk (or drink), in which lactose has been enzymatically hydrolyzed to glucose and galactose (milk type HD) is not recommended for patients with galactosemia, unless the galactose then is not completely removed.

Lactose and lactose intolerance

Lactose is a disaccharide consisting of glucose and galactose, and is the primary sugar in the milk of mammals. Once ingested, is hydrolyzed by lactase, an enzyme present on the membrane of intestinal microvilli in its components, glucose and galactose, which are then absorbed. If activity is reduced or absent lactase, undigested lactose intolerance can cause symptoms such as abdominal pain, bloating, flatulence and diarrhea. Lactose intolerance should not be confused with allergy to milk protein, which can not be solved by using the free milk lactose.
Those are instead suffering from galactosemia, an inherited disorder of galactose metabolism, not only do not tolerate lactose, but more severe symptoms than those observed in subjects with lactose intolerance.
primary lactase deficiency is genetically determined. In the case of congenital deficiency of lactase (lactase deficiency Congenital , CLD), we have a very severe lactase deficiency, whose activity is very low or absent at birth. In contrast, adult lactase deficiency, also referred to as lactase non-persistence ( Lactase-nonpersistence , LNP), is a normal developmental phenomenon characterized by the down-regulation of lactase activity, which occurs soon after weaning in most ethnic groups. The frequency of the LNP in adults ranges from 4 to 56%, with a lower prevalence in the countries of northern Europe and is more prevalent in southern countries. In adults with LNP, the undigested lactose reaches the colon where it is degraded to lactic acid, acetic acid, hydrogen and carbon dioxide by intestinal bacteria, with symptoms described above. However, the maldigestion of lactose leads to symptoms of intolerance in all the LNP subjects.
It should be noted also that the lactase is an enzyme whose activity is not induced by the substrate, ie the presence of more or less abundant to digest lactose. Nevertheless, it is shown that the daily consumption of lactose can result in an adaptation of the intestinal flora, thus reducing the symptoms related to lactose maldigestion.
Other forms of this disaccharide intolerance, are represented by lactase deficiency secondary to other conditions, as in the case of small bowel diseases that cause a rate to epithelial tissue. Also the acute gastroenteritis, celiac disease is not treated, chronic intestinal diseases and cancer chemotherapy may be associated with lactase deficiency.
The most commonly used test to measure lactose digestion have the breath test and lactose tolerance test. The first measurement at different time intervals, the amount of hydrogen contained in the breath of an individual who was given a drink containing lactose. The hydrogen comes from the fermentation by intestinal bacteria consumed the sugar and undigested. The lactose tolerance test, is based instead on the measurement of plasma glucose after ingestion of a beverage containing lactose. The test is based on the fact that if the lactose is not digested, there is a rise in blood sugar after his appointment. This test has a variability greater than the breath test and is therefore less reliable. The combination of the two tests can greatly improve the diagnosis, although a fee equal to 5% of intolerances, however, would not be diagnosed except by an intestinal biopsy is associated with the measurement of lactase. The analysis of the lactase gene polymorphisms may eventually add useful information.
Regarding therapy, the only satisfactory treatment for lactose intolerance is the diet reduced the content of this sugar. Pharmaceutical products that contain the enzyme lactase may be a good support, especially when meals are eaten out of cases and are not sure of the real absence of lactose consumed dishes. Unfortunately, there are currently no harmonized rules at European level to define a product free of lactose. The only regulation is set by Directive 2006/141/EC, which provides that formulated for babies and food formulas may be the definitive "lactose-free" when they contain less than 10 mg of lactose per 100 kcal. To this add after the fact that the lactose tolerance is highly variable among individuals who do not tolerate: the majority of individuals diagnosed with lactose intolerance or maldigestion can tolerate 12 g of this sugar as a single dose (especially if taken with food) in the absence of symptoms or with minor effects. A ome individuals are able to tolerate 20 to 40 g of lactose per day, when taken with other nutrients. The consumption of 50 g of lactose per day, however, induces symptoms in the vast majority of the intolerant. In some individuals, symptoms of lactose intolerance have been reported after taking less than 6 g of lactose.
The prevalence of lactose intolerance is usually very low in young children and remains low in adulthood among individuals of northern European origin, which tolerate this better than sugar.

Radio Shack 2.5 Hard Drive Usb Adaptor

Today is a great day.
My sister has just announced that will give birth to a beautiful baby girl.
The wait for all the news was full of anxiety, but know that it sound like a fish (I think that if you respect the dates will also be a fish in the zodiac ...) is the greatest thing in the world!
What can I say, it is still difficult to realize the idea that I have a niece, but more the idea that my sister will become mom.
Ours is the story of two sisters who love each other, and that from a certain point on their lives inextricably tied.
She was like a mother to me, not that my not be enough, but she was always nearby, for help, support and advise, what I have done of any importance in my life also bears his name.
To her I could tell every little corner of my heart, that maybe I was hard to tell my parents, perhaps because of their age.
When I learned that I was expecting a baby cried for two days.
E 'as if someone had told me that he would be permanently separated from me and that would begin to be the mother of someone else.
Even today, despite a month has passed, a part of me ..... suffers.
I would not want my words were misinterpreted, because that is finally to become mom for me is fantastic, but it's as if I suffered from that sense of abandonment that often affects dogs (I'm not good at all).
I would tell her not to go or take me away too, but this is impossible; lives change, evolve, and should learn to accept the postings, which for me is always fatal.
Maybe I can grow to understand that everything changes!
You're the life my sister!
with the heart. Elisa
